A super fun class, it really helped me understand the overall concept on video games and how to start with them. I recommend this class to anyone that wants to start making interesting video games.

Simple, clean course that focuses beautifully on the core of what is being taught.Also very enjoyable vibe to the instructor and the assignments; there's a puppet as a TA... enough said. :)

The lecturer rambles, sometimes almost incoherently. He conveys simple concepts over the course of several videos which could be conveyed elegantly and concisely in a few paragraphs. He’s either reaching or he just hadn’t truly prepared for his lectures in advance. Getting through his lectures is painful. This is CalArts. I expected a much higher caliber of teaching.
