Strong focus on fundamentals backed by hands-on exercises. I particularly liked the way constraints and parametric modeling were explained โ very intuitive and practical.

The good, As a basic course Catia v5 is fine. In this course I have learned how to use the catia interface from the most basic level. The bad, Is very basic (it doesn't have to be bad). It seems that certain 30-minute videos were recorded and then divided into 5-minute videos, that division breaks the rhythm of the course. There are some translation errors, I would say. And the structure of the content seems to have some errors of order, nothing that cannot be avoided with common sense. Overall, a decent basic course, considering that I had never opened Catia, but I do handle other CAD software a lot

I especially enjoyed exploring the assembly and surface design features โ they really show CATIAโs strength in handling intricate mechanical components and complex geometries. The exercises made me think like a designer, not just a software user, by emphasizing design intent and constraint management.

While many enjoy the basic practical examples, others mention that more practice exercises or real-world challenges would improve learning โ especially for preparing for job tasks or deeper skill building.

Overall, itโs a decent starting point if you want to become familiar with CATIA V5. It gives a good overview, but you may need additional practice or advanced courses to build stronger design skills.

While some sections could use more depth, the overall content is clear and helpful. It's a useful guide for getting familiar with basic tools and interface navigation.

Seeing the commands applied on screen helped a lot more than reading text. That said, I wanted more explanation of design intent behind choices.
